The Community

The area offers a wide variety of activities for all vacation tastes and styles. Visit the pristine Mustang Island Park State Park, experience a lively dining and nightlife scene, sample Texan wines, learn how to build sand castles, go parasailing or sky-diving - Port Aransas area offers plenty of fun things to do.

Resort Amenities

Palmilla Resort offers a VIP beach experience, with a private beach equipped with chairs and umbrellas, the only air-conditioned bathrooms on the island, as well as a golf course, sea side pools, gourmet dining, golf cart rental to get around, etc.

Dining

Chef Gail Huesmann, the executive chef at Palmilla Beach (and featured guest on the Food Network), combines her southern roots and Le Cordon Bleu training to create “coastal comfort food” and classics that are the best in Port Aransas.

In addition to the Black Marlin, REDS and Agave, all overseen by Chef Gail, the area has a number of other restaurants, certain to satisfy a broad variety of culinary tastes.

Golf Course

The resort is the only place in Texas that offers 9 holes of links-style golf, perfect for the occasional golfer but with challenging tee boxes for the pros.

In 2020 the resort will add the LOOP, a 3-hole short course playing 85-100 yards, designed for those just starting out as well as experts looking to sharpen their short game.
